Your Sugar Sits Untouched by Emilie Autumn
Goodbye is my favorite. I downloaded the ebook so yeaa. Feb 25, Alejandra rated it did not like it Shelves: Nov 17, Amber rated it it was ok. Also the strong American accent doesn’t work well reading poetry in a fake British accent. It brings me to tears.
Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. I feel bad only marking this two stars, because I’m a big fan of Emilie Autumn.

I have also just read her so eilie “Novel” equally cringe, the more I follow her work the more I get this feeling. I have never read it without audio, so it takes a while to get through it, but I love the peaceful time.
For a poetry book, it’s pretty good, albeit a bit repetitive. I wanted to love it but hated it. The truth is, though, a lot of these poems are mediocre, and some are just a bit not good I hesitate to say badbut Unfortunately it still hasn’t changed my mind about poetry. Most are about adolescent love, the loss of innocence, rejection and heartache — all a bit predictable and nothing that I haven’t experienced before.
I was brought this as a mother’s day present and FLAG on iTunes as well as a physical copy of her book from her website. Entertaining, profound, strange at times, but not left an indifferent reader. I like my literature to have some feeling and truth to it. Her obsession with wanting to be British is also cringe worthy. It was bad poetry, not quite as bad as ex-boyfriend corgans I don’t know who else to compare it too but it wasn’t good either.
The majority are wonderful poems. This is understandable, as they were all written between the ages of 13 and 18, which is quite young.
I am no good with poetry and I’m not a fan of hers. It felt more real, more full and the complete opposite to this type of work she has tried. She hopes that her future writings will not require such dramatic circumstances in order to be published.
I love her instrumental work and sung records but any audio book type or literary publication, she has published usually at a later date than claimed, bored the hell out of me. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoy everything that she does.
Is this important, not really, but to me it is. Have you read Rimbaud and seen how old he was when he wrote his masterworks? Open Preview See a Problem? Mar 22, Sharon untouches it did not like it. However, even the ones I thought were truly bad had some shining moments. The fact that Emilie wrote it when she was a teenager made me appreciate it more. Feb 12, Alex Martinez rated suvar it was amazing Shelves: Most of them were also very simple or just plain bad and it was annoying how Emilie constantly used ”thy” suga ”thou”.
I thought as she aged and grew, her skills would grow and this would die off.
Although many never heard of if until it’s digital yojr in because Autumn didn’t re First things first, the author has this listed at her site as being released inwhich is false.
Sadly her newly accompanying background music doesn’t help to improve the way the poetry reads.

The whole performance of the poetry in this is also emilir and dry. Would recommend to Autumn fans definitely, and casual fans of gothic arts and poetry. But, you know, why not? Although the poetry is terrible I don’t view the author as a writer anyway, never have, after just also reading two editions of her novel, but I do see her as a fantastic musician.
A fellow fan who incidentally also gave this book a two out of five star rating told me that they thought I might like some of these. The subjects were the same a lot of the time, which got boring very fast. Apr 06, Tim McNeil rated it it was amazing. Emilie Autumn grew up by the sea in California where she mastered the classical violin before going on to travel the world as a singing theatrical performer and author.
Want to Read saving…. I think this is a definite must sugwr all Xits fans, and for poetry enthusiasts. Funny because I’m pretty sure she was in her twenties and said so at some point I just never got around to buying until now.
I’m glad she likes my country but really, stereotyping? It was interesting reading her poems about love and its affects in her life. A few of them are rather so-so, or feel kind of immature the older ones, likelysifs like I said, this is totally subjective to the reader, untouhed you may feel otherwise.
